GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Year 2 Attend Surrey Cricket Festival in Woking

Last Thursday, some of our Year 2 pupils headed to the KS1 Surrey Cricket Festival, where they practised a range of cricket skills and techniques alongside children from other local schools.  They then put those skills into action in a batting and fielding game.

The children showed our school values of kindness, curiosity, confidence and respect throughout the day and were fantastic ambassadors for our school.  We may also have a few future cricket stars in the making!
