Year R Visit Godstone Farm

This half term, the children in Reception have been learning about living and non-living things and looking at different lifecycles.  Both Robins and Holly Class went on the coach to Godstone Farm last week.  The children had a very busy day exploring the farm and meeting lots of different animals.

The children attended four works shops:

• What is a pig?
• Meet the animals
• Paddock practice
• Pond dipping

The children were also lucky enough to meet George the Tortoise and feed the pigs!  The children had a great time on their first school trip and were all very tired on the way home.
