World Book Day at Pine Ridge and Lorraine

On Friday last week, the children at Pine Ridge and Lorraine dressed up as their favourite book character for World Book Day.  The children's costumes were inspired by books such as 'The Tiger who came to Tea’, 'The Gruffalo' and 'The Cat in the Hat' and there was even a Mr Bump, a Mr Tickle and a Supertato!  The children proudly paraded around the hall to show off their amazing costumes.  In the afternoon, parents and carers were invited into our schools to read a book with their child, an event that was extremely well attended!

The children also enjoyed an extra special World Book Day lunch!
