Today - 1st anniversary of all schools in England closing for the 1st lockdown. Thanks to everyone for their remarkable stoicism and support over the last 12 months. Both academic years have been disrupted and our collective resilience has been tested. But we take it day by day.

A huge thank you to the wonderful volunteers who have been at MPS for the past few weeks testing staff and students. As you can see, even with masks on, they are a welcoming and friendly bunch and they have been amazingly calm and reassuring with everyone having their tests. https://t.co/MJe0LOKyvH

Are you interested in training to become a Teacher?

We are proud to announce that we will be working in partnership with GLF Schools' Teacher Training. Are you, or anyone you know, interested in training to become a teacher at one of our schools?

GLF Schools' Teacher Training believe the best place for trainee teachers to learn how to become excellent classroom practitioners is in a school setting. Their blended-learning programme allows you to train to be a teacher by spending the majority of your time in a school environment. You will receive high quality support and training from skilled teachers who are passionate about education. By being part of a school community from the very first day of your training, successful candidates have the opportunity to develop a long-term career pathway within education.

GLF are hosting a ‘Zoom into Teaching’ Event on Wednesday 24 March,18:15-19:00. This event is for anyone interested in training to teach in either the primary or secondary sector. You will have an opportunity to watch a presentation on teaching and ask experts and trainee teachers about your training options and what it’s like to teach. To register to attend please click here.  More information please click here.

Further information about the webinar can be found on the attached flyer. If you have any questions, please contact GLF via info@glftt.org or follow us on our Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages.
