Discussing today how we are going to manage the appeals process...will it be a ‘normal’ pre-2020 appeals process? Students have had covid; some haven’t; self isolation for some, some more than once. This term. Same for staff too.

Thanks for highlighting the brilliant work of estates teams in schools. We have over 150 buildings across our 41 schools and all need continuous care (including essential cleaning).

We will never forget. Armistice Day 2020. Head Girls and Senior Leadership gathered to plant poppies and observe the 2 minutes silence, whilst students listened to the poem 'The Day the War Came' by Nicola Davies.

Welcome back to the new half term everyone!

Thanks to all our staff and volunteers for all they have achieved this half term. An amazing response.

A decade on: and came together under shared ‘executive’ leadership on this day in 2010. Within 2 years, was created as the both committed to a permanent partnership - thriving together for the last decade. Happy anniversary both👏🏻

Such gratitude to all teachers with us for all that they have achieved throughout 2020. Thank you.

It’s the weekend!

Every child has the opportunity to 'make their mark' at our school - as seen on our new hall display where EVERY child has contributed! This is where our Headteacher Stars shine each week when children have displayed our values in school:

Help us Keep your Children Safe

At Lorraine we are all very conscious of the need to ensure the safety of the pupils and staff.  The only access on the site is through the front gates which are open for a limited time at the beginning and end of the school day and during the change of nursery sessions at midday.  At other times of the school day, access through the gates is controlled by our receptionist.  All visitors must report to the main office.  Please close all gates and doors on entry and exit.  Access controls are installed on entrance doors to prevent unauthorised entry.

During the day children are not allowed in the play areas unsupervised and, therefore, for safety reasons children must not use equipment before or after school.
