People that are passionate about a subject make the best coaches/mentors/teachers. The ones that are full to brim with insight and ideas and knowledge about their field. Those are the ones that are eager to share this with others and pass their love on.

Yes, we have. The application is in the DfE’s name to R&B Borough Council and is accurate for September 2018.

Meet the Team

Paula Harris -  Manager

I am the Centre Manager and have been here since the centre first opened in 2008. You will often find me in the office but I do pop into sessions regularly, so come and talk to me. Children's centres are fun places to be and there's always lots going on. I hope you enjoy visiting as much as I enjoy working here!

Elaine 1

Elaine Peacock - Administrator

I am the full-time Information, Advice and Clerical Receptionist at the children's centre and will always welcome you with a smile. I am here to help with any questions you may have, so please don't hesitate to contact me.

Sam 1

Sam Lye- Outreach Worker

I am a part-time Outreach Worker and I facilitate sessions in the children’s centre, local schools and in the community. As part of the outreach team I support families in the area. I have worked with young children for over 15 years. Feel free to drop in anytime and see what we do.

Tiff1

Tiffany Goetz - Outreach Worker

I am a full time Outreach Worker. My main role is to support families and their children in various aspects of life. I also run lots of sessions in the centre; my favourite is messy play! There is always something happening at the centre so have a look at our timetable to see what you fancy coming to. Feel free to come into the centre for a chat and a cuppa, or even say hello when I am out and about in the community. Hope to see you soon!

Tiff 1

Vicki Tier - Playworker

I joined the team as a part-time Playworker in 2015 after spending over ten years at a nursery in Hampshire.  I have two young boys and used my local children’s centres constantly whilst on maternity leave, so am thrilled to now be working at one. I hope to make families feel as welcome as I felt and look forward to getting to know you all at sessions.

Sarah Campling - Outreach Worker
