Remembrance Day at Pine Ridge and Lorraine

This morning, at the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, pupils and staff at Pine Ridge and Lorraine Infant Schools observed a two minute silence in honour of Armistice Day.  This day marks the end of World War I and is a time when we remember all the servicemen and women who have fought for their country and all of those who sadly lost their lives.

The children laid the poppies they had made in a wreath during the assemblies to show their respect.
